Why is this request for help still urgent?
Miami remains a COVID-19 hotspot with record case counts and PPE demand is not being matched with supply. With so many COVID patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and shelters, facilities are quickly running out of PPE which is necessary to protect their patients' health and their own health, so they can continue caring for this influx of patients.
We are a student-run nonprofit organization aiming to ease the burden this pandemic is causing our health care providers by:

Collecting and distributing PPE donations

Creating PPE with 3D printers and distributing to healthcare facilities such as nursing homes, shelters, and hospitals
